Link’s come a long way from his early days of two-dimensional dungeon-crawling and puzzle-solving. But in his 25 years of continuous reincarnation into various bodies and alternate worlds, Link’s popularity has shown no signs of slowing down.

In fact, Link’s legacy is going to take on yet another form, as part of a complete, four-movement symphony that will honor the beloved hero later this year.

The performance, “The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses,” features symphonic renditions of Nintendo composer and sound director Koji Kondo and it will arrive in Philly at the Mann Center on July 25, 2012.

Although the concert is a long way off,  tickets will be available this Friday, January 20 at 10 a.m. According to the symphony’s official page on the Mann Center’s website, “Every performance to date of the ‘The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses’ has sold out far in advance.”

So, if you want tickets, put down the Wii mote or 3DS and start clicking that refresh button at 10 a.m. sharp!
